Rob Kelly is a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, who has been in full time practice for around 20 years. He is the Director of Training for the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts (IAPH), one of the largest independant hypnotherapy organisations in the world.
He has developed an incredibly powerful form of therapy known as Pure Hypnoanalysis, which is able to help people completely resolve and process the unconscious conflicts that drive common symptoms such as fears, phobias and anxieties etc, leaving people symptom free for life. During his time as a therapist he has been of assistance to more than twelve thousand people - which is more than your average psychotherapist would treat in ten lifetimes!
He is able to bring a totally unique, and insightful approach to the use of Forensic and investigative memory-enhancing techniques (FIMET), because of his extensive experience of using Pure Hypnoanalysis. Over the last 20 years he has helped thousands of people to recover repressed memories and experiences that were causing conflict - allowing these people to resolve the symptoms and anxieties caused by these memories. Many of these recovered experiences have later led to prosecutions.
On many occasions Rob has provided assistance to the Police, Social Services, victims and perpetrators of crime and many professionals within the medical and healthcare sectors. Some examples of where Rob's Forensic techniques have been successfully employed include: numerous rape and sexual assault cases, many childhood sexual abuse cases, and a couple of well-known murder enquiries. Rob has conducted a great deal of research into memory and the best ways to enhance memory recall without inadvertently introducing distortions or inaccuracies. Both Rob's FIMET and Pure Hypnoanalysis are mindful of all the current knowledge and research surrounding memory.
The memory-enhancing techniques not use any directive or suggestive interventions but merely enable a client to recall an event by creating a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere in conjunction with using proven memory enhancing and psychotherapeutic techniques.
Recently the IAPH completed a year-long research project into recovered memory. The research project evaluated the effect that recovering repressed memories through Pure Hypnoanalysis had on clients' symptoms. Clients who had completed a course of Pure Hypnoanalysis were invited to participate in an online survey indicating the degree to which their original presenting 'complaint' had been affected following the course of therapy.
The feedback indicated that all participating clients had reported a resolution of or reduction in their original symptoms. These results are, also, relevant to FIMET, since the research-backed principles behind both techniques are the same are very similar.
